Talia is a dance maker and choreographer based in Tel Aviv. Her practice focuses on partnering and weight work, which is present in her two recent pieces created this year – “Woven”, which premiered at Intimadance Festival 2024, and “Boulder”, created at Kelim Choreography Center as part of Asif Festival. She also created the dance film “idol” showcased at the Acre International Fringe Theater Festival 2023, and participated in the Erratica residency at Hangar Albanella, Italy. As a performer, she has appeared in works by leading artists at the Tel Aviv Museum and various festivals, including the opera “L’heure espagnole” with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
Barda teaches yoga and movement in various settings, including rehabilitation-oriented classes. She completed the Research dancers-creators training program by Or Marin two years ago and is a graduate of “The Group” dance program. She is currently pursuing a degree in Culture Studies at Sapir College.
